Ricky is currently a Fellow with the National Tax Practice Institute. He is also a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and National Association of Tax Professionals.

Ricky is a proud alumnus of University of Santo Tomas, Manila, Philippines, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Commerce degree with major in Accounting in 1978. The following year saw Ricky's entry in the elite circle of qualified accountants with his passing of his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examinations in 1979.

In 1991, Ricky took up a graduate program on financial planning and taxation in Fairleigh Dickinson University located in Teaneck, New Jersey. Ricky passed the United States Department of Treasury licensing examination which gave him the Federal license to practice before the Internal Revenue Service in 1993. By this time, he has already earned the designation of "Enrolled Agent" (EA).

Throughout Ricky's 28 years as a practicing professional in the field of taxation, he has handled numerous tasks ranging from accounting to auditing and management. His skill and knowledge as an entrepreneur operating today in the field of tax management are owed largely to his experience working in various capacities in different reputable companies which include Movers International, Samuel Liebgold, CPAs, Philippine Education Co., Vulcan Chemical Corp. and Sycip, Gorres, Velayo and Co., CPAs.

Ricky is not only a skilled businessman with an innate ability in business management, but is also an individual who displays a high level of interpersonal, pro-social skills; his two facets earning him both friends and business contacts, both respecting him and trusting in his sound business strategies and well harnessed business acumen.

Ricky and Daisy have been blessed with two children namely Erika and Erick.
